Salmon avocado tartare
Tartare is the French version of poke, ceviche and sashimi and is a dish I enjoyed during the four years in the 1990’s when I lived in Europe. It has to be made last minute, so the avocado stays green, but it is easy to prepare. I have even served these on spoons at a cocktail party.

It’s that time again and you have two weeks to get all of your hammantaschen baked in time for Purim. Hammantaschen freeze beautifully as long as they are not filled with fresh fruit. Here are my tips for hammantaschen baking success.
